How to make Baked Hake with potatoes and vegetables:
- The first step to prepare these delicious baked hake fillets with potatoes and vegetables is to preheat the oven to 180º C and peel, wash and cut the potatoes into thin slices. Once ready, we place them on an oven tray previously greased with oil as a base and sprinkle a little salt on top.
- Next, we wash and cut the three types of peppers into strips and place them on top of the potatoes on the baking tray.
- Tip: You can buy the peppers frozen and already cut into strips if you prefer.
- Next, we do the same with the onion, peel it, wash it and cut it into feathers to place it on the tray for the baked hake with vegetables, and sprinkle a little more salt.
- Then we peel the garlic and put it in an electric mincer together with the oil, the dry parsley and the white wine, and we crush everything. Then we pour a few tablespoons of this mixture on the vegetable tray of the baked hake with potatoes so that it takes on more flavors.
- Now we clean the cherry tomatoes and put them on top of the vegetables. Then we put the tray in the oven and cook the vegetables for about 45 minutes, until we see that the potatoes are done and the rest too.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, we place the hake fillets on the tray and dress them with the mixture of oil, wine, garlic and parsley that we had left over. The rest we put on top of the vegetables. Then we cook the hake fillets in the oven with potatoes for about 15-20 minutes in total, turning them halfway through cooking so that they cook well on both sides.
- Trick: I recommend that you do not bake them for a longer time so that the baked hake does not remain dry.
- Once it is cooked, we will be able to taste our baked hake with potatoes and vegetables. Take advantage!
