Baked grouper recipe with baked potatoes

Ingredients to make Baked Grouper with Baked Potatoes:

  • 1 kilogram of grouper fillet
  • 2 units of Lemons
  • 1 unit of white onion
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 4 units of potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons of Breadcrumb
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Baked Grouper with Baked Potatoes:

  1. The first step to make the baked grouper recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into not too thick slices, put them in water so they don’t rust.
  3. Mix the juice of the lemons, salt, black pepper and garlic paste.
  4. Tip: As an additional ingredient I put a splash of white wine.
  5. Cut the white onion into feathers and place it in a previously greased refractory.
  6. Add the potatoes over the onion with a little salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and take the baked potatoes to the oven for 45 minutes at 180ºC. Remove the aluminum foil and let the potatoes brown for another 10-15 minutes.
  8. Now we are going to prepare the fish. To do this, cut the grouper into individual fillets and bathe them in the mixture you prepared in step three of lemon, salt and pepper.
  9. Tip: If you don’t have grouper you can use hake.
  10. Then coat each of the fillets with a little breadcrumb and reserve.
  11. Place the grouper fillets on the potatoes and bake the fish for 15 minutes at the same temperature as before.
  12. While the grouper with baked potatoes is in the oven, we are going to bring the olive oil with a little garlic paste over low heat so that it infuses.
  13. Remove the grouper with potatoes from the oven and serve the recipe by adding a little bit of the garlic-infused oil on top of each of the fish fillets. Accompany the dish with lemon and parsley husks, as well as a sauce for the potatoes such as barbecue sauce.
