Ingredients to make Giant Baked Cookie:
- 85 grams of Butter
- 190 grams of peanut butter
- 50 grams of honey
- 70 grams of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
- 160 grams of flour
- 1 tablespoon of soy milk
- 1 handful of Conguitos (or chocolate dipped peanuts)
- 1 handful of Lacasitos (or chocolate chips)
How to make Giant Baked Cookie:
- We will start this giant cookie recipe in the oven by putting the butter and peanut butter at room temperature in a bowl and beat until blended.
- Trick: In summer we will not have a problem, but in winter we can give them a heat stroke in the microwave to soften them without melting them.
- Add the honey, sugar and egg and mix until everything is integrated.
- Add the vanilla essence, baking soda, and flour and soy milk and mix again until the giant cookie dough is homogeneous.
- Tip: If you find it difficult to work the dough, you can add another tablespoon of milk. Or on the contrary, if the dough handles well when incorporating the flour, you cannot add the milk.
- Finally, we incorporate the peanuts dipped in chocolate or Conguitos and the Lacasitos or chocolate chips, and with the help of a spatula we try to ensure that they are well distributed throughout the mass of the giant cookie.
- Grease our mold with butter and pour the giant cookie dough. With the spatula we make waves on the surface to give our mega cookie a rustic look.
- We put the giant cookie in the oven preheated to 180º C and bake for 18 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. The mold that I have used is about 24 centimeters in diameter.
- Let cool and then unmold. We must wait until it is almost cold or completely cold to prevent the giant baked cookie from breaking because when it is removed it is still soft. To enjoy!
