Baked Dorada recipe with potatoes and garlic

We are going to prepare a sea bream in the oven with potatoes, onion, white wine and lemon. The Christmas holidays are approaching and we are already thinking about the dishes that we want to prepare for these days, so I bring you a very good fish that we can prepare in many ways, but it is delicious in the oven.

Ingredients to make Baked Dorada with Potatoes and Garlic

  • 1 beam
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 small glass of white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

How to make Baked Dorada with Potatoes and Garlic:

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes. We can cut them into thin slices so they can be done sooner. Separately, we cut the fine onion and put it on the potatoes, add a good jet of oil and a little salt, put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180ºC, or until the potatoes are almost ready.
  2. Meanwhile, in a mortar, chop the garlic and parsley together with the juice of one lemon.
  3. When the potatoes are ready, we take them out of the oven. At this point, we will have the clean sea bream and, with some vertical cuts, we will put it in the dish on top of the potatoes, we will cut slices of the lemon and we will put them in each one of the cuts that we have made. In this way, the baked sea bream with potatoes and garlic will take on more lemon flavor.
  4. Sprinkle the fish with minced garlic, parsley and lemon. Add a glass of white wine on top to enhance the flavor.
  5. We put a little salt on the sea bream and little breadcrumbs. We put the sea bream in the oven for about 20 minutes or until it is done.
