Baked Dorada recipe with lemon and thyme

Eating well and rich does not mean spending hours in the kitchen preparing and cooking. As a sample, along, I bring you a recipe for baked sea bream with lemon that you will be able to have ready in 30 minutes, counting the preparation time.

A very healthy recipe, with hardly any preparation, made with white fish (in this case sea bream but you can use others as well) and with all the aroma and flavor that the aromatic herb and citrus give us. Let’s go for our recipe for baked sea bream with lemon and thyme!

Ingredients to make Baked Dorada with Lemon and Thyme:

  • 4 gold
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 bunch of fresh thyme
  • 1 splash of virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch of pink pepper to decorate

How to make Baked Dorada with Lemon and Thyme:

  1. To make our baked sea bream with lemon and thyme, we will first ask the fishmonger to clean and scale them. If we know how to do it too, then we will do it at home.
  2. Once clean, season the inside with salt and pepper. Cut the lemons into slices and put two or three inside each one along with a few sprigs of thyme.
  3. Put more sprigs of thyme on top of the sea breams and tie each one with cooking twine.
  4. Put the open sea breams with lemon and thyme on a tray suitable for the oven and drizzle with a good jet of virgin olive oil.
  5. Cook the sea bream in the oven with lemon, previously preheated to 180 ºC for 20-25 minutes, the time will depend on the size of the sea bream
  6. Serve the baked sea bream with lemon and thyme on individual plates decorated with a little pink pepper and a little cooking oil. As you can see, it is a very easy recipe and without any complications.
