Deluxe Baked Potatoes are a delicious alternative to French fries and their fame is due to the fact that they are served in the famous fast food chain McDonald’s. This is a homemade version of McDonald’s deluxe fries with a lot of flavor and aroma. It is about potatoes cut in the form of segments, seasoned with different spices and cooked in the oven until crispy and golden. They are a great side dish and you can also serve them with the deluxe sauce, whose recipe you can find on my profile.
Ingredients to make Deluxe Baked Potatoes:
- 4 potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, cornstarch, or cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 splash of olive oil
How to make Deluxe Baked Potatoes:
- Wash the potatoes very well and cut them into large wedges without previously peeling them.
- Place the potatoes in a bowl and add all the spices with the flour and cornstarch.
- Add a good splash of olive oil and stir until all the potato wedges are seasoned.
- Line a tray with parchment /sulfurized paper and place the baked potato wedges in rows on the tray.
- Bake the McDonald’s deluxe fries in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve the baked deluxe potatoes.
