In this recipe we are going to make some baked chaparritas, it is a typical Chilean recipe that consists of a Viennese sausage wrapped in empanada dough and stuffed with buttery cheese. Do you want to know the step by step? Then keep reading and cook with this simple Chilean recipe.

Ingredients to make Baked Chaparritas:

  • empanada dough
  • 1 unit of Egg
  • 6 units of Viennese sausage
  • 40 grams of butter cheese

How to make Baked Chaparritas:

1 The first step to make our Chilean recipe is to pre-list the ingredients.

2 Stretch the empanada dough, the ideal is that we obtain a thin dough.

3 Cut the dough into thick strips with the help of a knife.

4 Cut rectangles as shown in the photograph.

5 Grate a little buttery cheese on top of each of the empanada tops.

6 Add a Viennese sausage on top of the patty top.

7 Wrap each of the chaparritas.

8 Take them to a refractory.

9 Beat the egg as if you were going to make an omelet

10 With a kitchen brush, paint the chaparritas with the egg as shown in the photograph. He takes our sorties to a preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Serve our baked chaparritas very hot, the ideal is to consume them as a snack. You can also serve them as an appetizer with a green salad.
