Making a pizza sounds difficult, but the steps are actually easy to learn. Once you master them you will see that you will want to prepare pizzas with all the ingredients and flavors. The key is to be patient with the rising processes of the dough; the rest you’ll see will come out on its own. Without further ado, let’s start with the steps and discover how to make homemade bacon pizza!

Ingredients to make Bacon Pizza:

  1. 300 grams of strength flour
  2. 1 glass of warm milk
  3. 1 teaspoon salt

  1. 8 slices of bacon
  2. 1 cup of crushed homemade tomato
  3. 200 grams of semi-cured grated cheese
  4. 1 teaspoon oregano
  5. 1 pinch of pepper (optional)
  6. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  7. 1 teaspoon onion powder

How to make Bacon Pizza:

  • In a container or kneading bucket, introduce half a glass of warm milk and dissolve the yeast in it. Also add a couple of tablespoons of flour and stir until liquid dough is formed. Let it rest for 15 minutes, covering the container with a cloth and take it to a place without drafts.
  • Slowly add the rest of the flour to the bucket in which you had the dough. If you want to sift the flour before adding it to the bucket, it will be a point in your favor, since the pizza dough will be looser.
  • Trick: A very important point will always be to pour the salt over the flour to prevent it from directly touching the yeast.
  • This is the time to add the salt. Throw it away from the ferment, on top of the flour. If you have a mixer, program to knead for 10 minutes. If you are going to knead by hand, flour a surface to prevent the dough from sticking and knead it for at least 5 minutes.
  • Once you have the dough ready, let it rest for 1 hour in a deep, covered container. Keep it in a warm area like the oven or microwave. Meanwhile, prepare the filling for this easy homemade pizza.
  • When the dough has doubled in volume, remove the container and knead again for a couple of minutes to remove the air. Shape the dough into a ball and return it to the container to let it rest again for another 45 minutes. This will be the last left
  • Extract the dough from the container and knead on baking paper. Shape a flat or rectangular circle to make the bacon and cheese pizza. First of all, cover with the tomato sauce and spread it with a spoon.
  • Then, add the spices that you are going to use for your pizza. Distribute the bacon and sprinkle the cheese all over the base. Put it to bake in an oven tray without removing the paper where you worked it. Leave the pizza in the lower part of the oven at 180 °C for 25 minutes.
  • Trick: Never add the spices at the end to prevent them from roasting and losing their flavor.
