Ingredients to make Avocado Smoothie:
- 1 medium ripe avocado
- 1 glass of coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
- 1 dessert spoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 dessert spoon of sweetener (optional)
- Water (optional)
How to make Avocado Smoothie:
- Start the avocado smoothie recipe by removing the pulp and pit from the middle. There are several ways to do this, but the easiest is to cut it in half, remove the bone with the help of a knife and a spoon, remove all the pulp following the shape of the skin, as if emptying it. Then cut it into pieces and put it in the glass of the electric mixer together with the lemon or lime juice.
- Trick: If your avocado is very large, use only half. Lemon juice prevents the avocado from oxidizing and bittering, and on top of that it helps to detoxify our body.
- Add the coconut milk and ground cinnamon and beat well. Taste the avocado juice and, if you wish, add a sweetener (natural or chemical) to taste.
- If you prefer, you can prepare the homemade coconut milk recipe with shredded coconut yourself instead of buying it.
- Tip: If the avocado juice mixture is very consistent, add a little water and beat again. Repeat this operation until you get the desired texture.
- Place the avocado smoothie in your favorite cup or glass and then drink it preferably at the moment (if you save it for another time it will oxidize and I will gradually lose its properties.
