Ingredients to make Avocado Brownie:

  • 1 Hass Avocado
  • 250 grams of pure Chocolate
  • 150 grams of Butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams of Sugar (¾ cup)
  • 60 grams of flour
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Avocado Brownie:

  1. As when preparing any cake or dessert with an oven, the first thing we will do is preheat the oven to 180ºC and grease a suitable mold with a little butter.
  2. To make the avocado brownie batter, we will start by melting the chocolatetogether with the butter in a bain-marie.
  3. This process is the same that is practiced to make the typical chocolate coating for cakes
  4. While the chocolate melts, take advantage and remove all the pulp from the avocado. Place in a separate mold and crush with a fork until it forms a paste.
  5. In another mold, beat the eggs with the sugar for a couple of minutes until they are well integrated.
  6. Next, add the avocado pasteto the mixture and continue beating until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
  7. To finish with the batter for these homemade brownies, add the sifted flour with the salt to the melted chocolate and stir until well combined.
  8. Then join the two mixtures with soft and enveloping movements.
  9. Pour the chocolate and avocado mixture into the previously greased mold and cook in the oven for 25 minutes. It is important that the mold is right in the center of the oven.
  10. After this time, remove from the oven and let the avocado brownierest for a few minutes.
  11. Cut the classic pieces of this delicious dessert and if you want, decorate with a little icing sugar on top… bon appetit!
