- 1 handful of Canons
- 1 avocado

- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
How to make Tuna Avocado Sandwich:
Once you have gathered all the ingredients, we will start by preparing the tuna cream that we will use as a filling for our sandwich with avocado. To make it, place all the ingredients on the list in the blender jar and season to taste with salt and pepper. Blend everything at full power and correct the flavor if necessary. Then, spread the slices of bread with this cream. Be generous and spread all the slices.
I have used a whole grain bread to obtain a light tuna sandwich, but if you want you can use any type of bread, even a baguette type for a more rustic result.
If you want more details about the previous preparation, you can take a look at my cream of tuna spread recipe.
Next, wash the green leaves very well and place a layer on two of the slices of bread with tuna. I have used lamb’s lettuce, but you can use other ingredients such as lettuce or arugula to give the recipe a more gourmet touch.
Now it is the turn of the avocado, cut thin strips and distribute the avocado between the two pieces of bread that have the green leaves, as seen in the photo.
Cut small slabs of cheese or if you have it in slices, then place one slice of cheese per sandwich. I recommend using semi-cured cheeses since their flavor combines perfectly in this avocado and tuna sandwich.
Place the bread cover with the tuna cream and ready to eat. This delicious avocado and tuna sandwich can be prepared for a light dinner, a weekend meal or to surprise someone with breakfast in bed! Serving it next to a banana and orange smoothie.
