Eating vegetables does not have to be synonymous with a low-calorie diet or boredom, no. We present a vegetable dish full of flavor, easy to prepare, cheap and with a special touch that will not leave you indifferent: asparagus green beans.
Ingredients to make Asparagus Green Beans:
- 400 grams of green beans
- 100 grams of Serrano ham in thin strips or small pieces
- 3 pieces of Garlic
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 splash of Vinegar
- 1 pinch of Cumin
How to make Asparagus Green Beans:
- With some of the most common green beans and some Serrano ham tacos, we prepare these asparagus beans together with the paprika, the garlic, the slices of bread, the olive oil, a little cumin, salt and a splash of vinegar.
- Cook the green beans with a little salt in boiling water for about 15 or 20 minutes.
- Brown the sliced garlic in the pan with a splash of oil, add the slices of bread. When they are ready, remove everything and chop it in the mortar adding the cumin, paprika and a splash of vinegar to the mixture and set aside.
- We put the Serrano ham to brown in the pan and add the mixture that we have in the mortar.
- Add the green beans and a little salt to the pan.
- When we have them to our liking (more golden or rawer) we can serve, and eat! This dish of asparagus green beans can be eaten alone with baguette bread or served as a side dish for other dishes such as Bolognese rice.
