Apricot Liqueur

Ingredients to make Apricot Liqueur:

  • 5 kg ripe apricots
  • 1 l 90º alcohol (ethyl)
  • 800 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick

How to make Apricot Liqueur:

  1. Wash and dry the apricots.
  2. Open them in half, crack the bones and remove the almonds.
  3. Macerate the pulp of the fruit with the almonds, alcohol, sugar and a cinnamon stick for 30 days, shaking the jar from time to time.
  4. Strain the maceration through a paper filter
  5. Pour the strained liquid into a bottle, cover it tightly, and store it in the dark for 9 months before consuming the liquor.
