Apple Quesada Recipe

This apple quesada is not usually seen since it is made with apple. These types of cakes or cheesecakes are not usually like this, but I wanted to add a touch of apple as it gives it a very special sweetness. I like to make this quesada without cheese like this and share it with this article since the typical normal ones do not have anything and in this way you give it another flavor.

Ingredients to make Apple Quesada:

  • 4 apples
  • 120 grams of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 175 milliliters of milk
  • 180 grams of flour
  • 8 grams of baking powder (½ on)
  • 2 tablespoons of peach jam
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • Butter (to grease the mold)
  • Flour (to grease the mold)

How to make Apple Quesada:

  1. Core and peel two of the apples that will be part of the filling, we will leave the other two for later.
  2. When the two apples are peeled, cut them into four large pieces to transfer them to a large bowl and include the flour, eggs, milk, sugar, chemical yeast powder and beat with the mixer until we see a mixture without lumps.
  3. Grease the moldwith butter and flour on all sides. We pour the mixture.
  4. Core and peel the other two remaining apples, cut them in half and make slices that are neither too thick nor too thin.
  5. Place the apple slices on top of the quesada dough without cheese, slightly overlapping one on top of the other and make circles from the outside to the inside of the quesada until it is completely covered.
  6. With the oven preheated to 180 ºC with heat above and below and with air in the middle, we put the apple quesada for 45 minutes.
  7. After the remaining 18 minutes, we pause it and cover it with aluminum foil so that it does not burn.
  8. Let cool and in a saucepan heat the peach jam a little to paint the apple quesadaon top. We leave it for 3 hours in the fridge.
