Apple dumplings recipe

Ingredients to make Apple Pies:

  • 1 package of wafers for empanadas
  • 3 units of apples
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 unit of egg
  • 1 can of icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of water

How to make Apple Pies:

  1. We prepare all the ingredients. We turn on the oven at 180ºC. Prepare a baking sheet and place a sheet of kitchen paper on the base.
  2. Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.
  3. We put a frying pan over medium heat with the butter and the apples cut into small pieces.
  4. We let them brown a little.
  5. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and two tablespoons of water, and let everything brown.
  6. When the fruit is very soft, you can crush it or leave it in pieces to notice it in the sweet apple dumplings, that will be to taste.
  7. We will put the wafers for dumplings on the table and we will put a spoonful of caramelized apple on each wafer.
  8. Seal the apple and cinnamon dumplings with a fork around. We are putting them on top of the oven plate.
  9. We beat the egg and pain the wafers with a kitchen brush.
  10. We put in the oven and leave them until they are golden.
  11. When the caramelized apple dumplings are baked, take them out, let them cool and sprinkle them with icing sugar. And ready to eat!
