Apple and muesli cake recipe

Ingredients to make muesli and apple cake:

  • 150 grams of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 cup of water (240 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons applesauce
  • 1 apple
  • ⅓ cup oat muesli
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

How to make muesli and apple cake:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour with the sugar, salt, baking soda, lemon zest and cinnamon.
  2. Add the oil, vinegar, applesauce and water and stir well until all the ingredients are integrated.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a cake mold with parchment paper and brush it with oil.
  4. Cover the bottom of the mold with the oat muesli and pour the crushed apple cake batter on top.
  5. Cut the apple into slices and place it on top as well.
  6. Bake the muesli and apple cake for half an hour until it is ready.
