Apple and Cinnamon Cupcakes Recipe

Ingredients to make Apple and Cinnamon Cupcakes:

  • 150 grams of flour
  • 5 grams of baking powder
  • 54 grams of olive oil
  • 50 grams of milk
  • 150 grams of Butter
  • 150 grams of Sugar (¾ cup)
  • 10 grams of vanilla essence
  • 1 apple
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 2 eggs

How to make Apple Cinnamon Cupcakes:

  1. The first thing we must do to start preparing the apple and cinnamon cupcakes is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. Then, we mix the butter with the sugar until we obtain a homogeneous cream without lumps. At this point, we add the oil and vanilla essence, and continue beating. Although we can use manual rods, for this step we recommend electric ones.
  3. Add the eggs and milk, and continue beating to integrate these ingredients. If you prefer, you can use vegetable milk, such as oat or almond milk.
  4. Gradually add the flour and baking powder. Add the grated apple and cinnamon powder to taste. For this step, we recommend using a hand whisk or a spatula, as this will mix the flour much better.
  5. To make the apple and cinnamon cupcakes, you can also add the fruit cut into small cubes if you prefer.
  6. We distribute the dough in the cupcake molds, occupying 3/4 parts of their capacity, and bake the apple and cinnamon muffins for 20 minutes with the oven preheated to 170 ºC.
  7. When they are ready, remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool completely. Once cold, we can proceed to decorate them with whipped cream, cheese or vanilla frosting. As you can see, these apple and cinnamon cupcakes are very easy to make and they are delicious, so they are great to serve during a children’s birthday or a party with friends.
