Apple and chocolate cake recipe

Ingredients to make apple and chocolate cake:

  1. 2 apples
  2. 200 grams of flour
  3. 3 eggs
  4. 150 grams of icing sugar
  5. 120 grams of Butter
  6. 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
  7. 1 envelope of Yeast
  8. 60 grams of chocolate chips
  9. 1 pinch of Cinnamon

How to make Apple and Chocolate Cake:

  • The first thing will be to prepare all the ingredients. We will also put the oven at 180º C so that when the time comes to cook our apple and chocolate cake, it is already slightly hot.
  • Prepare a long mold, grease it with butter and lightly flour it. This elongated mold is the typical plum cake mold; you can also use cake molds or the classic round one.
  • To prepare the apples, we wash them very well, peel and grate them on the coarse side of the grater
  • On the other hand, we mix the dry ingredients, put the sifted flour in a bowl together with the yeast, the cinnamon and mix it.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until they are completely integrated into a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the flour mixture and mix everything little by little, with soft and enveloping movements.
  • Next, we add the melted butter to the dough. To melt it we can hear it in the microwave at intervals of 30 seconds.
  • Now it’s time to incorporate the filling of our homemade cake. We start by putting the grated apples. We mix it very well.
  • Then add the chocolate chips and mix again so that they are evenly distributed in the mixture.
  • We empty all the mass of our apple cake in the mold. As you can see, the ideal is that the mold is not completely filled
  • We put a few extra chocolate chips on top and put it in the oven to cook for about 45 minutes.
  • Remember not to open the oven during the first 15 minutes of cooking the apple cake with chocolate chips. To know that it is ready, you can do the toothpick test, sticking it in the center and checking that it comes out dry.
  • When the cake is ready, let it cool to room temperature and remove from the mold. So, the apple and chocolate cakeready to eat.
  • Soft and with an irresistible sweet touch, the combination of apples and chocolate is priceless. You can decorate this fantastic plum cake with a little icing sugar or a chocolate coating for a special occasion.
