Ingredients to make Anchovy Pintxo:

  • 4 slices of loaf bread
  • 4 anchovies
  • 4 strips of fried red pepper without skin
  • 4 strips of fried green pepper without skin
  • Pink sauce
  • Grated egg white
  • Pitted green olives.

How to make Anchovy Pintxo:

Pink sauce:

It is made with a mayonnaise adding tomato ketchup, a teaspoon of mustard, drops of Perrin’s sauce, a splash of cognac and a few drops of Tabasco.

Preparation of the pintxo:

The bread is toasted, a layer of pink sauce is spread on it, a strip on each side of red and green pepper, the anchovy on top, the grated egg and the olive.
