American chocolate sponge cake recipe

Ingredients to make American Chocolate Cake:

  • 230 milliliters of Water
  • 60 grams of dark chocolate
  • 275 grams of sugar

  • 5 grams of salt
  • 15 grams of baking powder
  • 230 grams of unsalted butter

How to make American Chocolate Cake:

  1. We gather all the ingredients to make the American chocolate sponge cake.
  2. First, we mix the chocolate with the boiling water. Stir with a whisk and let cool.
  3. Meanwhile, we sift all the dry ingredients(flour, salt, sugar and yeast) into a large bowl and mix with the rods so that they catch air.
