Ingredients to make amaranth and papaya smoothie:
- 500 milliliters of almond milk
- 300 grams of Papaya
- 1 pinch of Stevia powder or sweetener
- 120 grams of oat flakes
- 60 grams of amaranth seeds
How to make amaranth and papaya smoothie:
- Our first step to make our smoothie is to prelist the ingredients.
- Peel the papaya and cut it into medium squares, take this to a bowl. Papaya is known in other countries as leeches.
- Add almond milk and stevia. Process until the ingredients are fully integrated.
- Bring a skillet over medium heat and once hot add the amaranth seeds to toast them. Once they are toasted you will see that they take on a darker brown color, remove them from the heat.
- Add the oat flakes along with the already processed papaya and blend everything together until you get a uniform and homogeneous smoothie.
- Finally add the amaranth seeds and mix with the help of a spoon so that the ingredients of our smoothie with amaranth are integrated.
- Serve the amaranth smoothie decorating each of the glasses with a little seeds on top when serving them. It is ideal to drink this smoothie in the morning, preferably on an empty stomach.
