Amaranth and Papaya Smoothie

Ingredients to make amaranth and papaya smoothie:

  1. 500 milliliters of almond milk
  2. 300 grams of Papaya
  3. 1 pinch of Stevia powder or sweetener
  4. 120 grams of oat flakes
  5. 60 grams of amaranth seeds

How to make amaranth and papaya smoothie:

  • Our first step to make our smoothie is to prelist the ingredients.
  • Peel the papaya and cut it into medium squares, take this to a bowl. Papaya is known in other countries as leeches.
  • Add almond milk and stevia. Process until the ingredients are fully integrated.
  • Bring a skillet over medium heat and once hot add the amaranth seeds to toast them. Once they are toasted you will see that they take on a darker brown color, remove them from the heat.
  • Add the oat flakes along with the already processed papaya and blend everything together until you get a uniform and homogeneous smoothie.
  • Finally add the amaranth seeds and mix with the help of a spoon so that the ingredients of our smoothie with amaranth are integrated.
  • Serve the amaranth smoothie decorating each of the glasses with a little seeds on top when serving them. It is ideal to drink this smoothie in the morning, preferably on an empty stomach.
