Ingredients to make Almond Rice:
- 112 gr almonds
- 250 gr long grain rice
- 500 ml almond broth
- 75 gr long onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 30ml sunflower oil
- Salt
How to make Almond Rice:
- Ready all the ingredients.
- Wash the almonds, put them in boiling water, leave them until the water boils again; Reserve the water to cook the rice. Peel the almonds and arrange them on a tray. Bake them in the oven at 180°C for 5 minutes. They should be crispy and lightly browned.
- Cut the almonds into thin slices and reserve.
- For the rice, sauté the garlic and onion for 5 minutes.
- Add the rice and mix for 3 minutes.
- Add the almond broth, salt to taste and let reduce at that time, cover the rice, lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes.
- Once the rice is cooked, mix with almonds and serve.
