Albariño Scallops Recipe

Ingredients to make Scallops in Albariño:

  • 6 persons
  • coarse salt
  • bay leaf 2 leaves
  • onion,1 chopped
  • 12 large scallops
  • virgin olive oil 300ml
  • garlic 6 minced cloves
  • lemon 2
  • Albariño wine 1 glass
  • parsley 1 branch
  • breadcrumbs 50gr
  • ham 100gr

How to make Albariño Scallops:

  1. Pour the oil into a saucepan.
  2. Once hot, add the minced garlic, as well as the onion and ham.
  3. Sauté slowly and add the glass of Albariño wine, until the sauce is well melted.
  4. In a dish, the scallops are placed with their shells, settled in coarse salt.
  5. Add the lemon juice to them and cover them with the sauce resulting from the stir-fry.
  6. They are sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
  7. They go into the strong oven for around 10 minutes.
  8. Remove and dress with chopped parsley.
