Thai Style Salmon Soup Recipe

Ingredients to make Thai Style Salmon Soup:

  1. 250 grams of Salmon cut into 12 pieces
  2. 4 tablespoons of lime juice
  3. 2 units of red chilies without seeds
  4. 4 cloves of garlic
  5. 1 piece of ginger (about 6 cm.)
  6. 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
  7. 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  8. 2 liters of coconut milk (120 cl)
  9. ½ cup of fish broth
  10. 4 tablespoons of Thai fish sauce
  11. 200 grams of tagliatelle
  12. 2 units of tender onions
  13. Cilantro to decorate

How to make Thai Style Salmon Soup:

  • To make the Thai soup, we take a container, place the pieces of salmon and let them marinate in the lime juice for half an hour at room temperature.
  • While the salmon is marinating, add the peeled and chopped garlic cloves, the chili, the oil, the ginger and the coriander to the blender or mixer and mix until smooth.
  • We take a saucepan, introduce the previous pasta and put it to heat together with the coconut milk and the fish broth. Mix and let the soup cook for 10 minutes.
  • After the time, we add the Thai fish sauce and the noodles and let it continue cooking for 5 more minutes
  • Then add the salmon and remove the pan from the heat. Let it rest until the salmon is well cooked, this may take 1 or 2 minutes.
