Ingredients to make Thai Style Salmon Soup:
- 250 grams of Salmon cut into 12 pieces
- 4 tablespoons of lime juice
- 2 units of red chilies without seeds
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 piece of ginger (about 6 cm.)
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 liters of coconut milk (120 cl)
- ½ cup of fish broth
- 4 tablespoons of Thai fish sauce
- 200 grams of tagliatelle
- 2 units of tender onions
- Cilantro to decorate
How to make Thai Style Salmon Soup:
- To make the Thai soup, we take a container, place the pieces of salmon and let them marinate in the lime juice for half an hour at room temperature.
- While the salmon is marinating, add the peeled and chopped garlic cloves, the chili, the oil, the ginger and the coriander to the blender or mixer and mix until smooth.
- We take a saucepan, introduce the previous pasta and put it to heat together with the coconut milk and the fish broth. Mix and let the soup cook for 10 minutes.
- After the time, we add the Thai fish sauce and the noodles and let it continue cooking for 5 more minutes
- Then add the salmon and remove the pan from the heat. Let it rest until the salmon is well cooked, this may take 1 or 2 minutes.
