Ingredients to make Oatmeal and Vegetable Soup:
- 500 ml of chicken broth.
- 200 grams of oatmeal in flakes.
- 100 grams of cooked peas.
- 100 grams of cooked carrot.
- 200 grams of cooked potato.
- 1 unit of white onion cut into squares.
How to make Oatmeal and Vegetable Soup:
- Prelist all the ingredients
- In a deep pot add the broth and vegetables. Bring to low heat.
- Bring a frying pan to medium heat, add a tablespoon of sunflower oil or fry the onion for approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
- Once our onion is fried, add the oatmeal and let it cook for about 2 – 4 more minutes. Turn off heat and set aside.
- Mix with the broth step number four and stir well. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until the soup thickens. Turn off the fire.
- Serve with a little cilantro or parsley sprinkled on top and enjoy.
