Ingredients to make Homemade Vegetable Soup:

  • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1/2 coriander (cilantro)
  • 1/2 leaves of celery
  • 1 grated onion
  • 4 or 5 ripe tomatoes grated
  • A handful of soaked chickpeas
  • A handful of washed lentils
  • 250 g beef cut into small pieces

How to make Homemade Vegetable Soup:

  1. In the pressure cooker pour olive oil, brown the meat, then add the onion, the grated tomato, 4 tablespoons of tomato paste.
  2. Sauté. Add the parsley, celery, coriander, salt, ground black pepper, ground cumin, food coloring, chickpeas and lentils.
  3. Cover with water. Cook 1/2 hour.
  4. The soup must be a bit thick, if not, add a little flour or cornstarch diluted in cold water, stir and cook until thick.
  5. Add a handful of noodles.
  6. There are those who boil the meat without frying it, I have tried it both ways and it is tastier when fried.
