This chard and cheese cake is ideal for the little ones in the house to eat these vegetables so loved by some and hated by others. If you don’t know how to make a baked chard cake, keep reading the steps that we show you and you will see how simple they are.

Ingredients to make easy and delicious Chard Cake:

  •  300 grams of clean chard
  •  50 grams of Parmesan cheese
  •  200 milliliters of milk
  •  2 tablespoons of fried tomato
  •  2 eggs
  •  4 slices of sliced ​​bread
  •  1 pinch of salt
  •  1 pinch of pepper

How to make easy and delicious Chard Cake:

Cook the chard in the microwave for 4 minutes, placing them in a container suitable for this appliance. It is important to cover the container so that they are steamed.

In a bowl, place the slices of bread and milk. Leave it for a few minutes so that the bread absorbs the milk and becomes moist.

Add the two tablespoons of tomato, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Crush all the mixture of the chard cake without dough. Add the two eggs and beat again to integrate them into the mixture.

Add the chard to the mixture and integrate well. Then, pour the chard and cheese cake mixture into a rectangular mold previously lined with baking paper.

Tip: Our mold is about 25 cm long.

Put the chard pie in the oven at 180ºC for 50 minutes and serve it decorated with a little homemade confit tomato sauce.
