Ingredients to make cooked beetroot cream with Thermomix:
- 40 milliliters of olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 300 grams of Leek
- 1 pinch of salt
- 500 grams of cooked beetroot
- 750 milliliters of chicken or vegetable broth
- ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
- Natural yogurt (optional)
How to make cooked beetroot cream with Thermomix:
- Once you have all the ingredients measured on the work table, we plug in our Thermomix and start by chopping all the ingredients. Remember that you can choose between chicken broth and vegetable broth to make this rich beetroot cream.
- Place the oil in the glass together with the leek and garlic. Chop by programming the Thermomix for 5 seconds at speed 5. When it stops, add salt and make the base sauce by programming 10 minutes in Varoma mode with left turn and spoon speed.
- Add the cooked beets along with the broth and program again for 10 more minutes but this time with a temperature of 100º and speed 1.
- We continue with our cooked beat cream and add the cumin to finish grinding everything together for 1 minute at progressive speed 5-10.
