Fish Soup Recipe with Yam and Garlic

Ingredients to make Fish Soup with yam and garlic:

  • 1 lb. yam
  • 1 pc. onion
  • 2 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 pc. lemon
  • 6 pcs najus
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 2 lbs. croaker
  • 1 pc. big chili
  • 1 pc. tomatoes
  • 1 cup(s) oil
  • 4 tsp. flour
  • 1 pc. yellow banana
  • 1 pinch spicy

How to make Yam and Garlic Fish Soup:

  1. Clean the fish of scales, cut it into wheels and add salt and lemon.
  2. Dry it well.
  3. Coat the fish in flour and fry until light golden in color, receiving on a paper towel.
  4. Add 5 cups of water, seasonings, yam chunks, and fish.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and let it boil until the yam is soft.
  6. Add the ñajú cut into little wheels and let it cook.
  7. Cook the banana in the peel, peel it, and remove the core.
  8. Mash it and make balls to add to dishes once served.
