Ingredients to make Pumpkin Cream for Kids:
- 3 cups of Zucchini
- ¼ cup onion
- 3 cups of water (720 milliliters)
- ½ cup of milk (120 milliliters)
- 3 tablespoons of Butter
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup of cheese
- 1 drop of green food coloring
- 1 clove garlic
How to make Pumpkin Cream for Kids:
- Start by washing the pumpkins or courgettes very well, remove the tail and place them in a saucepan along with the water, onion and garlic. Cook until very soft, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Once the pumpkins are cooked, pour everything into the glass of a blender and blend until you get a homogeneous mixture. At this point you can add a few drops of green food coloring to accentuate the color. I used approximately 6 drops.
- Melt the butter in the same spot where the pumpkins were cooked.
- Pour the contents of the blender and add the milk. Cook over low heat until hot, but do not allow to boil. If the cream is too thick, you can add a little more chicken broth, milk or water, being careful with the latter two as they can reduce the flavor of the cream.
- Serve the pumpkin cream in individual bowls.
- Decorate the cream for children, for this pour the sour cream into a pastry bag and draw four circles with the help of a round nozzle, preferably a small one. You can beat the cream a little, just enough to lighten it and make it easier to decorate with it.
- To finish the spider web shape just draw lines from the center outwards with the help of a toothpick or the tip of a knife.
