Potato and Leek Soup with Ginger Recipe

The leek is also known as leek in many countries and brings an incredible flavor to meals. A clear example of this is the one I share. Potato and leek soup is highly nutritious because it is rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals, and has powerful diuretic properties. For all these reasons, taking it brings us many benefits while allowing us to enjoy a delicious dish.

Ingredients to make Potato and leek soup with ginger:

  • 1 chopped potato
  • 6 leek slices
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 2-3 cups of vegetable broth

How to make Potato and leek soup with ginger:

  • We get the ingredients ready to start preparing the leek and potato soup.
  • In a saucepan with a little oil place the leek and garlic, and fry.
  • Place the potato and stir the ingredients for a few minutes to cook.
  • Add the vegetable broth and the piece of ginger.
  • Let the potato and leek soup cook until the flavors are integrated and the potato is soft.
  • At the end and after letting it cool down, we grind everything.
  • We serve the potato and leek soup with ginger! I accompanied it with a delicious Jamaican water and lemon.
