Ingredients to make cream of spinach without milk:
- 2 tablespoons of Butter
- 1 unit of Onion
- ¼ kilogram of Spinach
- 1 potato unit
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 pinch of Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
How to make cream of spinach without milk:
- First, melt the butter and fry the onion until it starts to turn translucent. You can cut it into julienne or segments. Remember that you can also use margarine if you prefer.
- Add the chopped spinach to the pan and stir everything. Then add the potatoes, the chicken broth and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and lemon. Potatoes cut into squares preferably.
- Let it come to a boil and then cover the pan. Continue cooking over low heat for about 20 minutes until the potatoes are soft and starting to fall apart.
- Next, take all the preparation to a blender and blend until you get the desired consistency. Adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper if necessary.
