- One and a half skinless chicken breasts
- A piece of pork rib.
- two carrots
- a stick of celery
- two aged pork bones
- a small piece of pork bacon
- Garbanzo beans.
How to make Caldo de pollo, puchero:
1.Soak the chickpeas overnight.
2.In a large pot, add the chicken, the pork ribs, the chopped carrots, the celery, the chickpeas, the bacon, filling almost the entire pot.
3.Wash the aged very well, pouring them into hot water and changing it two or three times, then add to the pot.
4.When it starts to boil, remove the foam that the broth releases.
5.Once removed, let cook.
6.If you are running out of water and the chickpeas are not yet cooked, add hot water, once everything is cooked, add more water to the pot and when it boils, if it is already quite white, add the salt and remove from the heat.
