Ingredients to make Bulgur Salad:

  • 120 grams of Bulgur
  • 100 grams of peeled prawns
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 100 grams of Hazelnuts
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 dessert spoon of Tarragon Mustard
  • 50 milliliters of extra virgin olive oil

How to make Bulgur Salad:

Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan. We cook the bulgur for 15 minutes. Drain it and let it cool in the fridge.

Bulgur is a wheat-based food that is also often called cracked wheat. In appearance it is similar to quinoa or couscous and it is a food that provides great benefits as it is rich in carbohydrates and low in fat. In a saucepan, cook the prawns in boiling salted water. Drain and reserve.

On the other hand, chop the tomato into small pieces, cut the lettuce into julienne strips and crush the hazelnuts with the mortar.

Remember to chop the lettuce with a ceramic or plastic knife or by hand, otherwise it will quickly oxidize.

To make the dressing for our bulgur salad, put the mustard and olive oil in a bowl and mix well.
