Ingredients to make easy Galician broth:
- A bowl of White Beans
- A piece of lacon
- A piece of aged bacon
- 3 large potatoes
- Some kale leaves
- A piece of slightly rancid lard
- A garlic
How to make easy Galician broth:
- Put the beans to soak in cold water overnight, and the pork shoulder in lukewarm water.
- In a large saucepan with plenty of cold water, cook the beans, the pork shoulder and the bacon.
- When the beans are half cooked, add the chopped cabbage.
- Once everything is cooked, add the potatoes cut into large pieces.
- In the pan melt the lard.
- When it is very hot, brown the garlic and add it to the broth.
- Season with salt and cook for another hour.
- It has to be hot.
