A very healthy way to cover this meal is by making a turkey sandwich, also ideal for the little ones in the house. Ingredients to make Turkey and Cheese Sandwich:
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread
- 3 spinach leaves
- 3 slices of purple onion
- 1 tablespoon of sprouted soybeans
- 3 slices of smoked turkey breast
- 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
- 2 slices of cheese
- 3 slices of Tomato
How to make Turkey and Cheese Sandwich:
- Although we are going to use whole wheat bread to make the sandwich healthier, you can choose the type of bread that you like the most, such as rye bread. The same happens with the rest of the ingredients, you can use mustard or another type of sauce of your choice, replace the onion with another ingredient or simply eliminate it and select the cheese that you like the most.
- If you want the bread to be crispy, toast it for a few seconds in the toaster if you have one or in the pan. Then, to make the turkey and cheese sandwich, spread a little mustard on the two slices of bread. Then incorporate the spinach leaves and tomato slices into one of the slices.
- Now, add the sprouted soybeans, distributing it throughout the sandwich. Incorporate the smoked turkey slices and on top of them the cheese slices. Lastly, add the red onion slices to the sandwich.
