Ingredients to make Tuna Mousse:
- 3 cans of natural tuna in water
- 5 sliced olives
- 1 sachet of agar agar or 5 grams of neutral gelatin
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 2 pinches of salt and white pepper
- 125 milliliters of water
How to make Tuna Mousse:
- The first step to prepare the homemade tuna mousse will be to dissolve the gelatin or agar agar in a splash of natural water, you must also take into account the product instructions, but the amount will be the same.
- Once the agar agar or gelatin is dissolved, bring the rest of the water to a boil and add the mixture while stirring. You can hear it in the microwave for 30 seconds or use the fire for two minutes, constantly watching.
- Add salt and pepper to the mixture and stir.
- Prepare the container that you will use to make the tuna mousse, spread it with oil so that it comes off easily when unmolding it.
- Take all the ingredients (mayonnaise, tuna and gelatin) to a blender. Blend until integrated.
- Pour the easy tuna mousse mixture into the mold and put it in the fridge for about 4 hours or until it sets.
- Serve the tuna mousse at the table with some crackers or croutons to spread. You can decorate it with some slices of olives that go great, or you can also accompany it with some strips of bell peppers and parsley. Enjoy!
