Follow the step by step and learn how to make special gluten-free tequeños for celiac.
Ingredients to make Gluten-Free Tequeños:
- 500 grams of gluten-free flour
- 1 teaspoon of butter
- 250 milliliters of water
- 1 liter of oil
- 1 unit of Egg
- 200 grams of salty cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
How to make Gluten Free Tequeños:
- 1 Before making this recipe, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready. If you can’t find gluten-free flour, you can use rice flour with a little baking powder.
- 2 To make the dough, mix the flour with the salt and make a hole in the center. Add the warm water, the egg and the melted butter, mix everything very well until you get a soft and elastic dough.
- 3 On a floured surface, stretch the gluten-free dough until it is thin and cut strips 2 cm wide.
4 Cut strips of cheese to roll with the dough ribbons until they are very compact.
5 Fry the tequeños in abundant oil, at medium temperature, for 5 minutes until golden brown, drain and reserve.
6 Finally, serve and enjoy the gluten-free tequeños stuffed with cheese, ideal to serve as snacks at family gatherings. With this same dough you can make sweet guava and cheese tequeños.
