Sundried tomato and goat cheese tapenade recipe

Tapenade is a typical Provence pasta made with olives and other ingredients. At this article, we have prepared a different appetizer, without using olives but with very Mediterranean ingredients. Enjoy this dried tomato and goat cheese tapenade to prepare in your Christmas appetizers.

Ingredients to make dried tomato and goat cheese tapenade:

  • 100 grams of dried tomato
  • 6 units of peeled almonds
  • 50 grams of goat cheese
  • 20 grams of cheese spread
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • ½ dessert spoon of oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper

How to make sun-dried tomato and goat cheese tapenade:

1.We gather all the ingredients to make the dried tomato and goat cheese tapenade. This recipe also admits garlic (half a clove) and black olives, but we have preferred not to add more calories.

3.Drain the tomatoes and dry them with kitchen paper. You can also use dried tomatoes hydrated in oil.

4.In the blender glass, mix the tomatoes with the almonds and the lime juice. Lemon can also be used.

5.Add the cheeses, olive oil and a pinch of ground black pepper.

6.Beat the tapenade until it has a creamy texture but without lumps. If necessary, add a little more oil.

Tip: We have not added salt because the cheeses are salty but you can try the tapenade and add a little.
