Fish Stew Recipe
Ingredients to make fish stew:
- 1 kilogram of fish you want
- 1 sprig of parsley or cilantro
- 1 unit of Lemon (juice)
- 1 unit of large onion
- 100 milliliters of white wine
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of whole cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 teaspoons of flour
How to make fish stew:
Brown the finely chopped onion in a little hot oil. Add the clean and chopped fish seasoned with salt and lemon juice.
Then add the parsley and pepper. Let it cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add the white wine and finish cooking until it is cooked. Fish is reserved.
The flour browns in the rest of the oil. Once golden, it is added to the fumet and passed through the sieve. Bring this sauce to a boil, stirring so that it does not stick.
It is added back to the fish and served with lemon wedges. It can be accompanied with boiled potatoes or grained rice.
