Cucumber Mint Cream Recipe

In this recipe we are going to make a refreshing low-calorie cucumber cream. This cream is ideal to consume as a cold starter or a cream dip to accompany our vegetables or bagged bread. We are going to see the step by step of the recipe and its ingredients and encourage yourself to prepare a healthy, refreshing and delicious spreadable cream.

Ingredients to make Cucumber Mint Cream:

  • 1 unit of Cucumber
  • 2 glasses of Greek or natural yogurt
  • 60 grams of green or long onion
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 2 units of Lemons
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to make Cucumber Mint Cream:

1 Our first step to make the cream of cucumber recipe is to pre-list the ingredients.

2 In a blender or food processor, add the previously peeled and seedless cucumber, along with the dried mint leaves. Process until the ingredients are well integrated.

Trick: You can easily remove the seeds or pips of the cucumber with the help of a spoon,

3 In a separate bowl, add the very finely chopped onion, the lemon juice and the ingredients that we processed previously.

4 Add the yogurts and olive oil. Mix well until the ingredients are integrated. Add salt, black pepper and garlic paste to taste this in order to flavor our refreshing cream.

5 Serve our cucumber mint cream decorating with a little lemon. Serve this cream as an appetizer accompanied by some toast. And if you want a more elaborate dish, you can heat pita bread, cut it into pieces and put this cucumber dip in the center along with a little chickpea hummus and eggplant babaganoush.
