  • 4 slices of turkey ham
  • 4 slices of reduced-fat Manchego cheese
  • 2 cups of chopped lettuce
  • 1 pinch of tomato sauce to decorate
  • Mustard

How to make Christmas Pine Sandwich:

1.The first thing you must do to make these Christmas sandwiches is to cut the slices of Bimbo White Bread in the shape of a pine tree. To do this, you will need a cookie cutter with this shape, or draw the pine on a white sheet, cut it with scissors and place it on the bread as a template. Then, you just have to follow the edges with the knife, being very careful not to cut yourself.

2.Carry out the previous procedure with the slices of turkey ham and Manchego cheese. Then, spread the bread pins with the mustard and add the ham first and then the cheese. Make sure to match all the slices to get a perfect Christmas pine.

Tip: If you prefer to make a sweet sandwich, you can spread the bread with hazelnut and strawberry cream.

3.Close each of the Christmas sandwiches and heat the grill. When it is hot, the bread pins and cook them on both sides, in this way we will obtain hot and crispy sandwiches. In addition, the marks left by the grill on the bread will help us offer a better presentation of the pines.

4.Optionally, you can decorate the lines marked by the grill with the tomato sauce, simulating the balls of the Christmas tree. These Christmas pine sandwiches are ideal for children to take to school or to serve as a snack, with a glass of natural juice or a fruit smoothie. And if what you want is to turn this sandwich into a light meal, accompany it with a green salad or a vegetable soup and a fruit for dessert.
