Mussels and Tuna Express Pate Recipe

If you want something different and fast for dinner, we have a proposal that you cannot miss: a delicious tuna and mussels spread. Learn how to prepare a creamy pate in less than 15 minutes and eat it with toast when you feel like snacking on something salty. Mussels and tuna pate, in addition to being an easy appetizer to make, is a perfect option to fill sandwiches and eat tuna in a different way.

Ingredients to make Pate of mussels and express tuna:

  • 1 can of mussels
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
  • 1 dessert spoon of fresh parsley
  • 1 dessert spoon of fresh chives
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper

How to make Pate of mussels and express tuna:

1.List the ingredients. Keep in mind that to prepare this delicious cream of tuna and mussels spreadable you can use mayonnaise or cream cheese, we leave this ingredient to your liking.

2.Add the previously drained mussels and tuna to the processor. Reserve the mussel juice.

3.Mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

4.Finely chop the fresh parsley and chives.

5.Add them to the preparation.

6.Process and add the mayonnaise or cream cheese and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. If it is too thick we can add a little of the mussel juice and if, on the contrary, we want it to be less liquid, we will add more mayonnaise or cream cheese.

7.Mix and in a few minutes we have our mussels and tuna pâté ready. Reserve in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and enjoy!
