How to make Green Curry with Prawns:
- We gather all the ingredients to make the green curry with prawns. Although we have not added the broccoli in the image, we have incorporated into the recipe some little trees that we already had cooked and that have given it a very good touch.
- In a pot, fry the sliced garlic clove and, when golden, add the green curry. Let cook for 3 minutes over low heat.
- Then add the coconut milk and stir well. Lower the heat and let cook for 3 more minutes.
- At this time we add the lemon tree leaves and a teaspoon of brown sugar. We remove well.
- Originally this recipe is made with kaffir lime leaves but if you can’t find it and you have a lemon tree nearby, you can tear off a couple of leaves and they will give it a great citrus flavor.
- Add the cooked broccoli saplings and stir so that they are impregnated with the flavors.
- Finally, add the peeled prawns and let them change color (we cook them for less than a minute so they don’t go too far). Sprinkle with some chopped fresh coriander.
- Separately, we boil the basmati rice in plenty of boiling water, following the manufacturer’s instructions. We drain and reserve.
- If you want more details about the preparation of this fabulous aromatic rice, you can follow the basmati rice recipe step by step.
