Easy shrimp cocktail recipe

Ingredients to make Easy Shrimp Cocktail:

  • 1 kilogram of Shrimp or Prawns
  • 2 liters of water
  • 2 units of red tomato
  • 2 units of onion
  • 2 units of Avocado
  • 2 cups of ketchup-type tomato sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 units of Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of hot sauce
  • 1 branch of Coriander
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Easy Shrimp Cocktail:

  1. Wash the shrimp well and place in a pot with all the water, half the onion and the garlic. Cook the ingredients until the shrimp are done and let it come to room temperature.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the tomato into very small cubes, the rest of the onion and the avocado, the chili peppers in thin slices and the coriander as thin as possible. Also squeeze the lemons and reserve the juice separately.
  3. Next, place the tomato, onion, coriander, green chili and avocado together with the previously peeled shrimp in a large bowl. Add the tomato sauce and the spicy sauce and mix everything well.
  4. Then, add to this mixture the lemon juice and a little of the broth from cooking the shrimp. Go adding little by little and correct the seasoning with more salt, pepper or spicy if necessary
