- 100 grams of Sugar (½ cup)
- 1 glass of water
How to make Cheese Flan without oven and without eggs:
- The first thing we must do to be able to make this cheese flan without eggs is to prepare all the ingredients.
- In this way, we can check if we really have everything or if we need to buy something.
- The cream cheese can be of any brand, although a softer one is recommended.
- Thus, although I have opted for a Philadelphia type, you can also use mascarpone cheese, for example.
- When we have everything ready, we get to work! So, we take a large bowl and begin to beat the cream cheese.
- For this, we can use electric rods or a hand mixer. Separately, we put the gelatin sheets to hydrate in cold water.
- Tip: If you don’t have gelatin sheets, you can also use an envelope of powdered gelatin (unflavored) or a curd envelope.
- When well beaten, add the milkand continue beating. Then, we incorporate the cream or milk cream and beat until we obtain a smooth cream.
- Then, without stopping beating, gradually add the sugar and mix until all the ingredients for the eggless cheese flan are completely integrated.
- As you can see, the result should be a smooth cream.
- We take a pot, pour the previous mixture and put it to heat over medium heat. When we observe that it is hot, but without boiling, we add the hydrated gelatinand mix so that it dissolves.
- Then, we remove the preparation from the heat and let it cool while we prepare the caramel.
- Make the caramelby dissolving the sugar with the water in a pan, stirring non-stop with a wooden spoon or spatula.
- When it is ready, we cover the bottom of the mold with the caramel and distribute it well.
- Depending on the size of your mold, you may have leftover cheese flan dough and need to use it to fill individual molds, so I recommend saving some caramel.
- Pour the eggless cheese flan mixture over the caramel.
- If there is excess, remember that you can fill individual molds by previously covering the bottom with liquid caramel.
- Reserve the homemade flan in the refrigerator for at least three hoursso that it sets and acquires the desired consistency.
- Ready! Unmold and serve by adding more caramel on top, whipped cream or whipped cream.
- As you can see, it is a very creamy, delicious and, above all, simple cheese flan without oven and without eggs.
- Without a doubt, it is a perfect dessert, not only because it is cheaper than the ready-made ones, but also because it is within the reach of all those who do not have an oven in their homes.
