Ingredients to make Crab with chilies:
- 2 sea crabs half a kilo each
- 50 grams of flour
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 piece of grated ginger
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 3 chopped red chilies
- 60 ml. of oil
- half a liter of fried tomato sauce
- a quarter of a liter of water
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
How to make Crab with chilies:
- Wash the crabs well and cut them in half, remove the gills break the shell of the legs and claws. In
- Lightly flour the shells, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan and cook the crab halves one at a time, turning and holding until the shell turns red.
- Pour in another saucepan the remaining oil; add the onion, ginger, garlic and chili and leave over medium heat for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the water, the tomato sauce, the soy sauce, the chili sauce, the sugar and the vinegar.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes.
- Return the crabs and simmer, mixing in the sauce, for 8 to 10 minutes or until the meat turns white.
- Serve with rice.
