Ingredients to make Crab Packages:
- For the mass:
- ½ Kg of puff pastry see basic masses
- 1 egg
- For the filling:
- ½ Kg of chopped clean king crab
- 75cc of oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 green bell pepper, cleaned, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded, chopped
- Chopped parsley
- Salt
- pepper to taste
How to make Crab Packages:
- In a skillet, heat the oil over high heat, then lower the heat.
- Brown the onion and garlic there for 3 minutes. Add celery and cook 3 more minutes
- Add tomato and cook 3 minutes.
- Stir in the parsley, salt, pepper and crab, and cook, uncovered, until the mixture is dry.
- Divide the puff pastry into 4 parts, 2 larger.
- On a floured surface and with a floured rolling pin, roll out the dough to form 4 circles.
- Wet 2 25 cm pie tins, shake them and, without drying them, line them with the 2 largest circles, so that the dough protrudes from the edges.
- Cover with the smaller circles.
- Brush the entire surface with the egg and press the edges with the fork so that they are well sealed; prick the lids to let the steam escape.
- Place in oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Serve accompanied by some special salad.
