It is impossible to resist the temptation to try this delicious baked pineapple and meringue tart that we shared. Step by step you can prepare it if you follow all the instructions that it gives you to the letter, so don’t think twice and go ahead and make it!
Ingredients to make Baked Pineapple Meringue Tart:
- For the mass:
- 1 yolk
- 200 ointment butter
- 100g of sugar
- 300g flour
- For the filling:
- 200 cc of ananas or pineapple juice
- 60 g of corn starch
- 1/2 liter of milk
- 4 yolks
- For the meringue:
- 4 whites
- 75 ml of water
- 220g of sugar
How to make Baked Pineapple Meringue Tart
- Mix the ointment butter together with the sugar.
- Then add the yolk and integrate again. Finally, add the flour and mix until you get a uniform doughfor the pineapple tart.
- Wrap in cling film and let rest in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Mix the pineapple game with the corn starch, the boiling milk and the 4 yolks.
- Cook over high heat until a cream is made and let it rest in the fridge.
- Roll out the pineapple and meringue tart dough and place it in the desired mould.
- On top of it, place parchment paper and put weight on it (beans in my case) to cook for approximately 15 minutes in the oven.
- Beat the 4 egg whites and make a syrup with the water and sugar. When ready, add to the egg whites and continue beating for another 7 minutes.
- Place the filling in the baked dough and decorate the pineapple cake with the meringue.
- Place in the lower part of the oven 1 more minute or use a blowtorch to worship the meringue.
- Let cool and enjoy the baked pineapple and meringue cake.
