Baileys Mousse Recipe

FoodsDiary By FoodsDiary

Do you fancy a simple but flavorful dessert? In this article we share the step-by-step recipe for Baileys mousse and coffee, easy and suitable for coffee addicts.

The ingredients that we are going to need this time are very few, since we have chosen to create an express version of the classic coffee mousse. If you have coffee-loving guests, you can surprise them with a touch of coffee with Baileys and non-drinkable cream.

The idea came to us over coffee with Baileys and ice. By adding a little cream to the coffee we knew it was delicious, but what would happen if we also let it cool with a mousse texture? Simply exquisite. And we didn’t have all of them with us because of the fact that the cream could be removed, but if you follow this recipe you will have the perfect Baileys mousse.

Ingredients to make Baileys Mousse:

  • 200 milliliters of whipping cream or heavy cream
  • 3 dessert spoons of soluble coffee
  • 50 grams of sugar (¼ cup)
  • 1 tablespoon Baileys

How to make Baileys Mousse

  1. We ready the ingredientsto make our express mousse dessert.
  2. The traditional mousse has eggs but for us there are enough calories with the cream.
  3. If you have brown sugar on hand, you can substitute white.
  4. We semi-mount the cream with the sugar.
  5. The exact point is not complex to get the hang of: it will be enough that there is no liquid part of the cream but it does not have to be completely assembled either.
  6. If you have any doubts, you can review the recipe for whipped cream for desserts.
  7. Now, very carefully, we proceed to incorporate the coffee.
  8. Do not do it suddenly, but little by little, to integrate it firmly but carefully so that the cream does not disassemble. Always with enveloping movements.
  9. Once we have integrated the coffee, we pour the Baileys.
  10. Be careful here: pour it twice, even if it seems to you that it is very little, it is still a liquid on the cream.
  11. Stir carefully and pour the rest.
  12. We already have the raw Baileys mousse ready. I recommend that you try it before cooling it, in case you have to correct sugar or coffee.
  13. Baileys I recommend not adding more.
  14. Pour the Baileys mousse and coffee into each of the little glasses in which we are going to present it and put it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
  15. This type of cold dessert is ideal for serving in individual molds.
  16. Another way is to place the entire mousse in a mold and when it’s time to serve, when it’s ready, do it with the help of a piping bag.
  17. When you take the cups of coffee mousse and Bailey sout of the fridge, decorate with some coffee beans or powdered poop, a delight!
